Maybe everyone has friends, but not everyone has imaginary friends. Having imaginary friends is a normal psychological and social phenomenon. This body of work is derived from a questionnaire about what imaginary friends look like, from which the designs are selected and characteristics are extracted and enlarged. This thesis collection consists of a series of brooches, mainly composed of sterling silver, epoxy and textiles. The collection aims to evoke the good memories of people who have had imaginary friends, and allow people to think and discuss imaginary friends.
