Elva Ma

Elva Ma's current collection of conceptual wearable art is inspired by architect Zaha Hadid. The collection of “Body, Metal and Space” consists of three pieces of conceptual jewellery. The metal and the skin, the jewellery and human body. They are like the relationship between architecture and people. The collection is an exploration of Hadid’s design philosophy and the design of Heydar Aliyev Center. The overall unornamented design and the matt surface treatment allow us to focus on the expression of the dynamic structure and the connection between solid and void. The combination of contemporary art style and traditional silversmith techniques has explored the expressiveness and limitations of copper and silver.
